Just so you know, Internet Explorer wouldn’t be pinned to the taskbar by default. There will also not be a shortcut for it on the desktop unless you create one for it. The “Data” listed for the (Default) value should be what you want to use to auto open a file. Also to take effect of the changes is a log on and logg suficient or a reboot required before application is laumched again to try this fix?
