This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing this in the right place.I have a new 7' Chinese in dash, with iGO Primo. Was working well, but seemed to be missing some street numbers. As it was sold with 4Gb card pre installed, I decided to look on this forum for later maps. I took the advice about backing up, or in my case using another card. I downloaded the necessary files, loaded the card and tried it.
It failed, so I returned my original card to the unit, but now it tells me 'Can't find Global.cgf'. Can someone help. ( 03:09 PM)trongson Wrote: You are not allowed to view links. WHEN/IF you are lucky, you may be able to solve your problem by copying the original data.zip and sys.txt to the d/l version, but this requires a 100% compatibility between the 2 builds. What is the screen resolution? You wrote it's 1024.600, then why write in sys.txt 800.480??You are asking for our help, not even giving us the information we need and have asked you? When you try this and try that and then something else, how can we keep up with what you tried or not tried?One advice (and this could be my final advice!): go back to what worked, delete the Vietnam voice and the save folder, set things up again and then stop fiddling around. When changing the voice is all you did to the original, Primo might work again. Here the sys.txt on the primo9 working OK ( that have language and voice vietnamese ) on my old audio GPS Pyle screen 7 inchs.I copy all files from this to new card and put into my new system Pyle big screen 10.1 have resolution 1024-600.When start up GPS: error resolution 1024-600 not support. And find a working link. Post #11 link was working. Then on your original program, delete the.exe, the license folder and the save folder. Then from the download, copy/paste the.exe and the license folder to your original program. A new save folder will be automatically created the next start/exit of the program. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ALWAYS EXIT THE PROGRAM THROUGH THE PROGRAM AND DO NOT SIMPLY TURN OFF THE DEVICE.ALWAYS back up your files/folders first before doing ANY editingPlease make mirrors additional uploads to preserve links.
